Divergence
Worldbuilding project. What happens when the floor gets built.
Status: Growing ◔
TypeScript spatial graph engine (forked from ptera.world). Currently at para-garden/divergence.
Core Concept
The counterpart to legacy. Same starting point, different ground. Not utopia declared from above — the floor got built before the window closed, the way Europe built it post-war, before the ideology hardened.
Divergence rejects homogeneity. Flattening is impersonal. The world is one where things stayed specific — not because anyone protected their specificity, but because the conditions that compress people into legible units for extraction didn't have enough leverage.
The site is a spatial graph you navigate like a world. Nodes are people, places, things, moments. Proximity is relationship.
Architecture
Zero runtime dependencies (except keybinds and yaml). Spatial graph engine with zoom tiers, content pipeline, and cluster system. Forked from the same engine as legacy and ptera.world. ~1,200 lines of TypeScript.
